Flipboard is abandoning X for Mastodon

The platform says it will hold on to its accounts and retweet from time to time, but it plans to focus on Mastodon and other social platforms instead.

The deep water on the east of Rona shows why the lovely sheltered harbour is on the west of the island.

Just upgraded multiple nodes on my home network to the new @OpenWrt version... and nothing broke. I did my homework and tried to avoid known pitfalls, sure - but that never happens. It feels like the laws of nature are suspended today.

Really proud of Signal, of this piece, and so happy to help lead an organization willing to be honest about what others hide: the incredible cost of developing consumer tech, and why it’s so hard (but rewarding!) to build tech that doesn’t rely on monetizing surveillance.
