But then we got acquired by Fitbit. I realized I could not protect user data anymore. I quit.

Now that data is owned by Google.

Today's #Covid19Cymru headlines:
Cases higher, but average still down.
R stable at 0.94
Deaths still high.

Friday tends to see the highest number of cases. It was the same last Friday (New Year's Day), and although we might be suspicious of New Year data, it's something we observed before Christmas too.
So 2487 new cases should not be a surprise.

The fact that R has remained unchanged for 4 days (±0.005) suggests the data we've been getting are good. A smooth change would be equally encouraging, and it would be better still to see this number decreasing. But most important is that it is below 1.

There were 56 deaths recorded. That's high, but again a little lower than last Friday. Sadly this is the inevitable consequence of allowing cases to get so high in mid December.

There were 20 new cases reported for #Ceredigion. That's also a decrease on last Friday, so the average comes down. Although the lowest average for a week, we seem to be unable to escape the high teens-low 20, where we've been since late Nov.
