The little door cams on our fridge and quite possibly yours. When shut they firmly slot into each other. There’s resistance opening the door as the top one rotates and door lifts a bit. As you swing door closed the slots get closer and gravity takes over to re-seat them, pushing door shut. Clever.
They wear out after 8-10 years (left), or at least that's when I get around to replacing them.
