As far as I can see (I'm a tech guy, but not a crypto guy), those concepts seem to be the most frequent use cases for blockchain.
There are others, but they seem to be a case of 'have a hammer, need to use it, no idea on what'. As databases, blockchains are wildly slow and wasteful. Decentralization without it may be not so good, but any other method is going to be wildly cheaper and faster.
And not being able to delete data is a serious flaw most of the times, not a feature. And a potential legal nightmare, too.
About "monitor and experiment...", I'm afraid I don't understand that part.
The first step would be finding a really useful use case for it that is not way better served by other kinds of tech, and is not for speculators, launderers, get-rich-fast schemers, and other kinds of scum. Good luck finding one.
True, not really a star. But still his best performance ever.
Don't blame me. I voted for the blender.
Them: This is the final 4.0 version of ___. Don't wait! Use it now!
Me: Those guys are going to be patching critical errors in this version for more than a year. I can't find any feature I need. Better let others take all the pain. I will install it when they start promoting version 5.
My boss: Better wait for version 3 end of support.
Metric or Meetic? Both are useful for measuring.
I'm not surprised at all. Imperial units are so bizarre that nearly any other unit system sounds reasonable as an alternative.
Assuming there is no rank 0, it has to be 1 upgrading to 2.
If there were 2 green boxes, I would think it is 1 upgrading to 2, but I wouldn't be sure of it at all.
A +1 would be far less confusing for me.

True!
Why am I thinking on Mary Poppins now...?

Rich people take risks by investing because they have money they can take risks with.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, isn't it?
You can be world's leading expert in something and a complete ass in everything else.
That said, that paragraph hints that WSJ has pretty serious QC issues.
When someone says you are cool, you get encouraged.
When someone says you're wrong, and explains why, you learn something.
When someone gives you shit, you learn that someone has an anus complex.
There are really few things on life that should be allowed to be opt-out, beyond early infancy.
Imagine a world where buying things, contracting services, join the military, marrying or having children were opt-out.
But as consumers, we are always being forced to it. And that's terrible.
