From my understanding- such a possibility is currently possible if someone were to just go and do it. Though I imagine it would be a really hard sell.....

One better:: go around coughing with your mask hanging from one ear and wipe your nose with your hand!

this is of no surprise to me

@izaya
have you played any of the stalker or metro 2033 games? how about the books? all were amazing imo

FYI

I have had articles declined by LWN and IEEE but continue to support them- not that anyone cares.

I miss college... I challenged my professior just as much as he challenged me. In fact, I aced that class because I was willing to ask all the 'stupid' questions that lead to "omg i didnt think of that" anwsers.

I miss college... because there was a wealth of resources available for me to do learning outside of the classes I was assigned. In that time, I figured "sure, im not assigned to learn that- but f*** that, ima go to the school library and borrow 12 books on it"

I miss college.... because even though I disagreed on things with other people- i understand I came from a different academic background from them, we shared a mutual home for our learning and could eventually meet at some point given enough study.

I miss college.... because even though I didnt need to go and likewise others- we all wanted to better ourselves for various reasons; resulting in our own mutually understanding satisfaction.

True, college today may be monopolized, capitalized or even biased- but why not 'hack' it to be the resource it ultimately is?

Going to college is not just a matter of extending one's learning- but furthering one's ability to learn and adapt. Shoudl I challenge you in an intellectual debate- I would hope you would have the sufficient background to suffice your stance and oppose me with the full-force of what you learned.

Please. Prove me wrong. Please, challenge my understanding.

It is in only in these brief interlude moments of interactions that are otherwise flashes of memory in our lifetimes- that we can learn and grow and share the 'ultimate truth' of 'what is'.

p.s. sorry for the wall. goodnight.

All of my family use facebook- I dont use facebook or google services for anything. It took several years for them to accept that. Only recently are they open to alternatives that I've proposed to them to do things like videochat.

As for corporate sector- all you can do is comply with the current and push for the proposed open-source in-house alternatives.

Ideally, those who follow would only ever follow strict principles- but the truth is that change is not radical, but inherit and slowly learning. I would personally encourage pushing on the premice that it's better for the company, meanwhile staying in contact with those who stay proprietary for the sake of the long-run game(so to speak).

Even at my megacorp- they occasioally dabble in . Dealing with proprietary software has been a matter of convenience. I deal with it only because it pays the bills- which dribble onto funding .

Monty Pythons Meaning of Life::

Mother: "Is it a boy or a girl?"
Doctor: "I think it's a bit early to impose rules on it, don't you?"

@raavan
in this regard- i still have my old android available for internet-only access stuff like banking apps.

for work stuffs- ive only had to deal with sms which works fine on at least on which has been my primary.

mobile webpages work on , but are a bit more of a pain compared to android apps- hmm, maybe I guess they should pay certain developers more for better quality web designs????

@raavan
My came with but i instead installed . Either way, with Linux you'll face some 'challenges' compared to the ease of use of Android. But I urge you and others like you to stick with it.

If the kernel is good enough for the ISS(international space station), it's good enough for your $150 phone.

@cyr
I would post my 's power stats- but 'screen' doesn't seem to work for me.

As for apps like 'megapixels', i've yet to configure it to output jpg instead of doing "megapixel > open in 'image viewer' > save as jpg" ...

I could right this second- but im taking a break from doing that kind of stuff all day for work and will do it on the weekend(sunday if anything). Maybe by sunday I'll post a few scripts/how-tos...

Edit:::
I've yet to still go over this unofficial list of apps
