@mayaisloading @agturcz let's just say they forgot to slice Switzerland by local language
@agturcz I'm sorry to talk about this, but this might officially be the worst choice of colours ever. The map would've been cool otherwise
Anyone know of a program at a university or college where Linux laptops are available for students to check out and use, similar to what you might see for Windows and Mac devices?
Or maybe it's a single Linux desktop in a computer lab?
Has anyone tried this? Are there any IT admins who work at schools who could provide input?
@bittersweetdb @voyager @taylorlorenz could you please link to this Mona thingie. Can't find it on the android store
@glyph @taylorlorenz one click distance to reading the original content. Not only unnecessary, but easy to skip when undecided if what to read. This is not the intention when willing to quote post. This particular problem is solved with the screenshot
As any community, the Fediverse is full of myths that exist for the single reason that vocal people have an agenda, and others can't be bothered to fact-check. One such myth here is "quote tweets are toxic". Debunked! Thank you @QOTO for being better than so many others
@GossiTheDog @mttaggart would you consider this to be an argument in the discussion about quoting posts? If so, why would you think so?
@scottjenson @taylorlorenz @phanpy we have it on https://qoto.org/
@seamsay well, I don't think one "introduces" new logic with mocks, etc. I'd rather think one "externalises" relevant parts of the existing implicit logic (sometimes inaccurately, so needs refinement). This is why I wrote of intention
@seamsay looks a bit superficial to me. I don't see the paradigm as decisive as test coverage, which I see as documentation of the intention behind the code. And OOP encapsulation (combined with mocks, monkey patching, etc) allows for relatively easy unit testing.
Western Japan has been shaking nonstop for two and a half hours now. I don't think this has ever happened before anywhere.

Uncanny, but I guess nobody cares
@rebekka_m @nazgul I only wonder how they manage to put Victoria's Secret on her without hallucinations in the tailoring
@rebekka_m @nazgul void turnover, but it's turnover
