I was able to bypass a (majestically incompetent) customer service chatbot and get what claims to be a human by swearing at it.
Final update: connection with the human restored, and they were able to fix my configuration problem.

On the phone robots you can usually get human by ignoring prompts and punching all numbers for 60 seconds.
I think it’s a fall through catch for people with disabilities.
Update: the "human" asked for more information about my problem and then ghosted me.
