Space Disagreement! for the @PIGSquad Tabletop Jam in @unity3d. Camera tracks the ship, ship model imported, music added, stars are different colors for different resources, adjacent stars have halos.

Super smoooooth day of implementation for the @PIGSquad Table Top Jam! Here's a little sneak peak of the prototype:

If you voted for a law making it a crime to give voters water while they wait in a line that's long because you made it long, you're not "the opposition party"--you're a threat to American democracy, and nobody, including journalists, should pretend otherwise.

Put #SivaAfi in the olympics!

New sports that will feature at the 2024 Olympics are skateboarding, climbing, surfing and breakdancing. A campaign to include pétanque was unsuccessful.

Some fun facts about space debris reentries:
(1) A breakup like the one over Seattle happens at about 60 km (~40 miles) up, far above where airplanes fly (more like 10 km).

They need this dog at the Suez Canal immediately..

TIL: @unity3d automatically initializes List variables (so they are empty rather than null) -- but only if they're public. There are reasons for this surprising behavior, but it cost me at least an hour of head-scratching.

For the record, even though Fire Arts was practicing at the time, we are in no way responsible for the Bruckheimeresque evening.

We have been getting a number of calls about this! This looks like what we have seen in all of your videos. Not official, but this fits the bill. https://twitter.com/planet4589/status/1375301028514500615

WTF just happened in the sky over Portland?

Me: If a dragoon fights on foot but rides a horse, what do you call someone who fights on foot but rides a dragon?

@htdrake: An idiot!

Also, move to the metric system and get rid of the Electoral College.

On a related note: I detest moving to & from daylight saving and think there's no good reason to give stationary people jetlag. Pick 👏 a 👏 time 👏 and 👏 stick 👏 with 👏 it. 👏

My copy of @DrPeterDrake's new card game about Samoan fireknife dancing, "Siva Avi" (think: push-your-luck Mille Bornes with flaming knives), just arrived. Is this the first dual English-Samoan board/card game? https://www.thegamecrafter.com/games/siva-afi:-the-fireknife-dance-of-samoa
