#2694 Königsberg
At first I thought I would need some gold or something to pay him, but then I realized that it was the 18th century and I could just bring a roll of aluminum foil.

I'm Dyson. I'm best known for my RPG cartography. I do work for Wizards of the Coast, Kobold Press, and a huge number of other publishers - RPGGeek lists something over 900 titles with my maps in them.
I also maintain a collection of a thousand+ free maps that you can use in your games.
@EubieDrew We on the left are always wringing our hands about being open minded and considering other points of view, but how do we deal with this ... is psychosis the right word? If it were just a few people, we could ignore them, but it's literally most of one of our two major parties, and therefore a good fraction of the country.
cw: good but scary article on QAnon

RT @daniellecbelton
"When you peel away all the 'genuinely batshit crazy prophetic aspects,' LeCaque explained, QAnon at its core is a 'mass murder fantasy' about the coming 'storm' when all of the MAGA movement’s enemies will be arrested and lynched."

Because we value accessibility here, a lot of people won't boost toots with images that don't have alt text - so not only are you being accessibility-friendly, you're also ensuring your posts reach a wider audience.
If you're having trouble remembering to include alt-text, follow @PleaseCaption who will DM you an alert when you post images without descriptions.

If you're in #Portland, remember to get your ballot in! You just have to mail it by Tuesday —and you no longer need a stamp!— but it might be better to use a drop box if you can.
Not sure who to vote for? Tina Kotek, Joanne Hardesty, and the revised charter.
@hq Yes -- the influx of Twitter migrants seems to have made the room crowded enough that there's always something going on.
@martin_esq Do you dance with fire?
@trinsec @freemo @FediFollows Bummer.
Not to look a gift social media network in the mouth, but that's some bad UI. I could easily:
1) Think I've followed someone,
2) Cancel the seemingly no-longer-necessary "subscription" to that person, and then
3) Never be able to find them again, because they're not in my list of followers or in my feed.
Now suddenly it looks like I *can* follow people on mastodon.art. Does that mean they're now federating with #qoto? @freemo @trinsec @FediFollows

@arushimanners@sotl.social The PascalCase advice is good, but annoyingly the Mastodon web interface keeps "correcting" the upper case letters out from under me.
On alt text, there's a nice bot that will remind you if you forget: @PleaseCaption
