"We're FINALLY on the way to the beach! I think I can already hear the ocean!"

"That's just everyone in the car sighing from pent-up exhaustion."

Every streaming series seems to consist of the heroes fighting invisible monsters with Vantablack swords, in a basement, at night.

Saturday is a great day to head to the market to stock up on needed provisions.

I hope you are having a productive Saturday!

I am!

@evildrganymede No spoilers, but we found that campaign devastatingly difficult. Legacy of Dunwich was more reasonable.

Fabulous game!

Finished playing The Swapper. Overall outstanding, but one of the puzzles was unreasonably difficult -- it took me many tries even after I read a walkthrough.

@Hey_Beth ...or, equivalently, whether the Republicans can suppress enough Black votes to win. Nobody believes he would win in a fair fight.

@mekonto There's probably some Corgi in there, but everyone says she looks like a miniature German shepherd.

Hello world..........I'm a teeny, tiny turtle but I'm gonna be waaaaay big when I grow up!

@futurebird The ZOUSes? I don't think they exist.

*loud zipper noise*

*Wilhelm scream*

A friend attending #ICML just sent me a photo of this front runner for best poster award.

@kemal Alt text: a sloth, sitting on the edge of a moving motorboat, drags its claws in the water.

@futurebird I read the following story in a magazine decades ago:

A man comes up with the clever idea of cloning himself, thinking he can let his clone do his work while he parties. Inevitably, the clone has the same attitude.

Eventually, the horrible clone has totally ruined the original's life by insulting everyone he knows, committing crimes, etc. In despair, the original goes up to the roof of the nearest tall building. There he finds the clone, swearing at the police through a megaphone, buck naked.

At this point the original has an epiphany: "Legally, he's the same person as me! If I kill him, there's no crime. I can get my life back!" So he pushes his duplicate off the roof.

When he returns to the ground floor, he's immediately arrested. "Oh yeah?" he smirks, "What's the charge?"

"Making an obscene clone fall."
