who needs things like skydiving when you can get the same adrenaline rush by causing an incident in prod

@JoshuaHolland that was always my job as a kid. Our cats left us "gifts" several nights each week. I don't really miss that chore...

@LALegault @MichaelPorter my sister showed me the "fish pic" phenomenon on dating apps about a year ago. What a bizarre strategy to try to impress women (or anyone, really).

@emilygorcenski it would be great if a player like McDavid opted to keep using the pride tape. Make the league choose.... are you really going to suspend him over this bigoted policy?

American politics and culture has brainwashed us all into assuming that “one side is good, one side is bad" and that "my side is the good side." Red and blue. Political conflict here is generated by the assumption that the other side is entirely out of their minds and that only my side can save us from them, “the other.” We are right, they are wrong. Always.

Constant exposure to this mindset has left Americans unprepared to choose the “good" side of a complex international conflict in which both sides are bad.

You don't need to pick a side to support and a side to condemn. You don't need to voice your support for either a terrorist organization or an aggressive military regime in order to express that you don't like people being displaced, fighting and dying.

Just say that last part. “I don't like conflict and I hate it when people get hurt.”

I can't imagine how far you have to shove your head up your own ass in order to have such a shitty world view that you think this book is a threat to children.

Immutable rules of the internet, #9381: they wouldn't be forcing you to click through a consent pop-up if the change was good for you

@joe getting old, man, is not for the faint of heart. Glad to hear you're out and back on your feet.

@TPushic the officiating has been questionable, but they have 50 yards of offense to HOUs 300+ yards. I think would be losing even if the calls were going in their favor.
