I have a "Job requirements" page on my website.
Typically when a recruiter reaches out I send them to the page and get one of two reactions:
- They ghost me
- They respond "that's quite a list, good luck getting that"
It filters out the bullshit and spammy recruiters that slide into DMs all the time.
Except for one recently that was super pleasant and helped me find my new job.
He looked at that list and said: "I gotchu"

I want to spend more time exposed to people who aren't like me. But who are also not dickheads ideally.
@commonst I've used tusky and the PWA (which you access by going to your insurance in a browser, and it will offer to load an icon on your home screen). Tusky is better for 90% of my usage, but the PWA gives you access to everything the desktop version has.
@trinsec oh, gotta disagree then. The French fry / tater tot form of the potato is better than the chip form. Although both are quite good.

People complain a lot about wearing masks, but I gotta say, with everyone wearing them for the past few years, it had been a long time since I caught a cold. That was, until this week.
The kids have been bringing stuff home from school left and right. We've constantly had someone in the house sick for about six weeks now, and it was finally my turn. And it was a doozy.
I'm just now starting to feel vaguely human again. If I wasn't already pro-mask, I definitely would be after feeling like this all week.

One of my hobbies is smoking meat. Aside from the artistic side of cooking, applying scientific concepts to it is really fun - and it helps the end product. When I'm smoking meat I use a device called Fireboard. This allows active temperature tracking with alerts and much more. You can take a look at my current cook here.
