@StillIRise1963 Indeed. People who are not from groups that feel that way just can't get their heads around it. "That's crazy. Impossible. You're exaggerating." No, actually they're dead serious and have been for generations.

@rixx It's a cluster, uh, nevermind.

Controlled by an Arduino. So with some artfully crafted code, one could get those fans to play music, sing in harmony.

*Now* we come to it. Donald may have just said publicly that one of the witnesses in his Federal January 6 case should be killed.

Stochastic terrorism. Witness tampering. Violation of conditions of release from prison pending trial.

The Democrats @senatedems mustn’t sink to the level of the Republicans @senategop . Our elected officials must be held to a higher standard. If you are indicted by the Department of Justice you should be compelled to resign. Absent accountability we get impunity and lawlessness.

I'm thinking of doing an experiment:

1. I'll create a bunch of LLC AIs and I'll train each one on a different set of right wing "information", such as faux news, certain selected websites, etc. The goal is to create a rough AI maga community. I will probably also feed reading lists from evangelical sources and maybe the $0.00 books on Amazon (which tend to be right wing screeds and conspiracy theories.)

2. Then like the old Perry-and-Eliza hack of days of old, I'll have these AI magas talk to one another (and learn from one another.)

I'm curious what kind of mentality they will exhibit at the end.

Later I could brew in some of the really awful "history" stuff from The History Channel and Smithsonian Channel.

New video shows Utah mayor spit on, assaulted by attacker: 'You don’t know who I am, do you?' aol.com/news/video-shows-utah-

@TomSwirly @Npars01 @aral However, none of this relates to my point, which is that the media make the decision of whose name gets mentioned constantly and whose name is suppressed. By well-known, I mean constantly mentioned in the media or not. This is a decision made by the media.

@TomSwirly @Npars01 @aral I think he's too old too. But what I think is best and what voters will vote for are different things.

@TomSwirly @Npars01 @aral I should add that amongst average Americans in Middle America, Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, etc., are unheard of. Say those names here in West Virginia and you draw a blank. They are known to politically conscious people like you and I, who comprise just a small fraction of the general population. Unheard of to the average voter.

@TomSwirly @Npars01 @aral Obama was a notable exception. The Democrats ran him and won because 1) they knew that hatred for Bush and his policies was widespread and intense, 2) Biden was the running mate.

@TomSwirly @Npars01 @aral It might, but I doubt it. Americans vote for names they recognize, household names. This fact is what enables the media to play kingmaker by deciding who gets discussed and who doesn't. This tactic doesn't work with Biden because he's the President and the most well-known democrat in the country. The media can't "disappear" him by not mentioning or discussing him.

@JoshuaHolland Well, he's right in a way. We're not a few steps from The Handmaid's Tale, we're already in it.
