I haven't played Monopoly for many years now. The last game was with three housemates at university. One housemate was winning and really enjoying his triumph over the rest of us. So I suggested to my other two housemates that we form a cooperative. We would let each other off rents on our properties. The standards rents would apply to anyone not in the coop. And you could leave the coop if you wanted. None of this is forbidden in the rules of Monopoly because it has little market regulation.

Here we go again.

This time its an implant to help people manage cluster headaches. The company that made the devices has collapsed leaving 700 people with implants and no way to manage them.

There has to be a better way to deal with this.

Google likes to claim it loves the web. Google fucking broke the web.

Cookie notices on every fucking website? They need those because they use Google Analytics or Google Ads.

Recipe sites that go on for fucking days? That’s because Google penalises websites when you leave too quickly, and they can’t show as many ads.

Obviously-bullshit machine-generated “content” designed to entice you to click ads? That’s because Google Search is a monopoly.

Domestic violence is often a precursor to committing a Mass shooting.

Shooter at Lunar New Year Festival in Monterey Park was a 72 y/o man who was angry at his wife for going dancing to dance hall she was invited to, he wasn't, jealous & suspicious he showed up at Dance hall where his wife was dancing, shooting 20 people, killing half of them.

5 men killed
5 women killed
Many senior citizens

20 people were shot & killed over a jealous angry husband.

Domestic violence is domestic terrorism. 🤬

The US legal system is responsible for a great many preventable #COVID19 deaths and illnesses.

Millions of defendants and jurors have been forced to appear in court for cases that should have been dismissed or at least delayed due to the pandemic. Revenue-generating traffic cases shouldn't cost people their lives or health, but they have.

Finally, note that courthouses bring together people who would otherwise never interact, which is the worst thing to do during a #pandemic. #law
