One or two snowflakes in attendance at the National Conservatives conference asked if we could stop referring to the nasty party as the Nat-Cs because it hurts their feelings. Especially as people are pronouncing Nat-C as 'Nazi'.

They have therefore suggested changing their name from the National Conservatives to the Conservative Nationalists or CNTs for short. To be fair, both would be apt.

Dr. Jane Goodall visited Hungary recently, and she stayed at a hotel that gives guests bedtime stories (instead of mint) on their pillow every day. I worked with them to create their folktale collection.

So, I had the honor of making a personalized selection of bedtime stories for Dr. Goodall 😊 😊 Which is honestly one of the highlights of my storytelling career 😄 ❤️

A technicality, but this incident was not a result of a bee “swarm”.

Swarming is a defined behavior, where bees are hiveless and looking for a new home. Swarming bees are gentle, having no hive to defend, and rarely sting.

What happened here was, something bothered an established hive in someone’s roof and the bees mounted a defensive response.

Our shop, @sweetreadsict
has been closed off from PayPal. PayPal accounts for half of our regular business and the vast majority of our international.

It should be noted that the shop does not actually sell anything 'sexually oriented materials or services.' The most graphic thing we have is the Emptied Spaces anthology, which is no where near as salacious as what you can find at Barnes and Noble or your local bookshop.

It doesn't matter, though. Some random asshole reported the store and PayPal decided being queer is too risque for them. This is the end consequence of pushing obscenity laws that do nothing but satisfy the urges of dominionists that want us dead and gone.

Also there's no appeals process, lol.

I just went for a ~40 minute walk. I came across 0 other🚶‍♂️ , 4 🚗 , and 1 🦊 !

And 64 streetlights...

Assuming the streetlights use 50 W each, the city burned 1.3 kWh of electricity for me and the fox. Is dawn-to-dusk streetlighting really necessary in residential neighborhoods if at 10 pm there are as many foxes as people walking around?
