Indoctrinating students into thinking their entire society is racist and out to get them is what can lead to things like the recent uptick in mass shootings.

Okay, so your point is twofold: 1. You say it is incorrect to assume that racism is behind the objective fact the wealth is concentrated in the hands of white ppl.
2. And that trying to link the undeniable fact wealth is in the hands of white ppl with racism is indoctrination.
The question is, WHAT ELSE but racism can explain the present inequality?
There is no other explanation.

Nonetheless, it's well-documented that many policies and mechanisms in the US society do disproportionately target people of color, and especially black people.
Also if you wanted to know what CRT *actually* is it's one web search away. So if you don't that's just unwillingness. It's a specific approach to sociological research, not an indoctrination.
