@aral Lets hope it is just an oversight, however if not we need to encourage more women to apply for these jobs.

A lot of women don't feel safe in forums in that they can pretend to be male (user name / avatar for example) so they can ask questions and get sensible answers.

@torresjrjr +1 however we need to get that across slowly otherwise you end up just confusing people. or risk that, esp if they are used to mainstream social media.

So welcome to the woke world of 2021, say something that gets interpreted as slightly anti trans, racist (even a small comment) you get cancelled, mutilate animals and NOTHING seems to happen..

Even if what you say is part of a wider debate on an issue.

I think the system is just stacked against things such as having rational conversations, the woke lot want to cancel anything they even slightly dis-agree with.

Maybe this is also the result of not teaching critical thinking too.

Old saying you reap what you sow, in this case we have sown these seeds now we are seeing the results of this.

Yes good point, science needs to be taught but properly based on science data, teach kids to read / comprehend then look at actual papers on the climate , maths interpret actual data form real conclusions and talk / discuss with others to see their view etc

I have said this before global warming aside we will be far better if we didn't drive cars that pump obnoxious gases n to the atmosphere CO co_2 NO_x SOx are all bad for us, not to mention things like benzene (carcinogen)

Better transportation = less need for cars anyway.
