Note: All kinds of opinions are welcome. I'm too young to know every aspect of this world, so I'm glad to hear from others despite I might not like all views. Just don't be triggering.

Just re-read your post and understand it now, reminds me of the fact that the Flight of the Valekrie by wagner ?? was used in the Bugs Bunny cartoon Whats Opera Doc, only Elmer is singing the tune with the words Kill the Rabbit.

Some distributions have got the User Interface / experience down to a fine art, they have listened, learned and got it right. You would think, by now given we are using free software other distributions could take the best of what really works and apply to other distributions, so there is a common upgrade path to newer versions.
I am not suggesting all distros should look the same but there are certain aspects of the user experience that need some degree of consistency.
I am not suggesting what happens in the linked article is justified, Given what people have to put up with, in your case from the proud boys et al, the authorities and state inability to get a grip, we have a similar issue with the MET police in the UK which they are tryng to sort out.

Sneak peek: Gajim 1.8 will integrate OMEMO! In the past, we moved the most popular plugins into Gajim's core: image preview, plugin installer, HTTP upload, syntax highlight, and now OMEMO as well. This brings tighter integration and better user experience
Great stuff
