He would be better off finding a field of sheep, bigger audience and higher IQ too.
I like how LetsEncrypt was a fringe outlier of the SSL world and now it quickly increased the baseline security of the web and is almost a default on literally everything. It issues millions of certs a day. That's probably equivalent to a decade of certificates issued from "old school" SSL certificate issuers.
Excellent work and thank you on behalf of the community :)
Ah that is more like it, lets hope other big tech firms learn from this too.
@zleap @Researchbuzz The fine was 50k per day *doubling every day*.
A 10 day delay would have been a 51 million dollar fine.
"A travel waiver has been issued for flights to/ from Fukuoka (FUK) between Aug. 8 - 10, 2023 HST. See details. " (ie No Flying FUK) #badjoke #AlmostSwearing https://www.hawaiianairlines.com/#
Surely Putin can't blame Ukraine for this one.,
I think in the UK you would swap insurance details and contact details, perhaps take photos of any damage to both cars, the scene (e.g road condition etc) clearly make sure both parties are not injured (and call emergency services)
Perhaps also check in to A&E to make sure there is nothing hidden (e.g neck injury)
If there is debris on the road, the police can help close the lane so that can be cleared.
Perhaps for multi-billionaires & their companies, it should be $350,000 per day, so if the court issues it's request on say 1st Jan, with a reasonable time frame, say 3 weeks, after that the fines kick in per day until they comply.
To provide further incentive, the days in prison count should start at the same time as the fines increments, so a 10 day delay would be a $3.5 million dollar fine plus 10 days in prison.
August 9, 2006, died #OTD, American space scientist James Van Allen. He was instrumental in establishing the field of magnetospheric research in space mapping out Earth's magnetosphere 🧲
It would be quicker count who Trusts government than to count those who don't trust government.
Twitter fined $350k for judicial non-compliance on Trump-related search warrant. But no fines needed to restrict content upon request by foreign authoritarian regimes. "Gotta respect local laws" - just not those of the U.S.
