The more we display this photo, the more we are just playing in to the hands of a narcissistic attention seeker, doing EXACTLY what he wants us to do.

+1 this is where critical thinking really comes in to it's own, understand the process and ask question after question about what people are doing. Not only do we learn about the process more, but we also counter misinformation and conspiracy theories at the same time.

He is taking the US politcal system and judicial system and using the media to help making a total mockery of everything the US stands for, and at the same time ensuring those who support him contunue to do so, putting hin closer to the whitehouse and presidency, even if he ends up in prison.

At least in Niger, the coup leaders who accused the president of their country of corruption, took over and put the former president in prison. Regardless of what that president has done, what is going on in the US is a coup by the back door and the whole population is lapping it up as if the presidential race and job is a media circus, with more focus on social media likes than ability to actually do the job.

Truly the USA is very fast losing credibility

No wonder BRIACS countries want a fresh way of doing things,

One way to counter this could be to perhaps share information on how drugs etc should be developed adn tested. Perhaps given that with covid, we did trials and development in such a short space of time, we lulled people in to thinking it is normal, when in reality it can take years to develop effective treatments etc.

The BBC just did an interview with a marketing guy regarding trump, other than the fact that he sent out the mug shot after it was taken on to X and I guess his own social media platform. One comment was that from the start in 2015 when Trump said he was running for the white house, he was on twitter reacting to news events.

Perhaps the Joe Biden team need to be doing the same or at least something similar so they can be on par with the Trump campaign.

Elections are going to be won and lost on social media, like that fact or not, teams need to adapt.

hmm, does it matter who is leader ? What is important is as a party you connect with the real world, real people, understand peoples needs. These needs could be due to say disability but also could be their need for good quality child care so they can go to work, decent education so their kids have a chance in a globalised world for example.

Does the UK have any respect for the law or even international law any more?. We are one of the founders of the UN, something we should be proud of, but instead we now behave in an embarrasing nd shameful manner.

Granted the UK was involved in the creation of Isreal, perhaps we shold have done things differently but the British Empire knew what was best for people didn't, NO of course we just followed our idea of what was best.
