@FourOh-LLC @jeff Hmm, you're becoming a bit too coherent to be entertaining, but since you chose two random unconnected topics instead of many this time, i think i'll indulge one of them.
The lizard in my pocket (You said ChatGPT, but it's functionally the same) says many things, but is not actually intelligent. I'm focussing on self reflection here, so what i would not expect from the lizard in my pocket is to reflect on the meaning of its words. It's just a random remix of words that are known to be likely to be said, any new idea would be completely random.
What results from this is that i could replace the lizard in my pocket with a simple script that brought up previous works. It is not actually contributing, it is just another way of ingress for existing ideas.
So the examples of physics that we can and cannot practically demonstrate at home does not actually connect to this.
@FourOh-LLC @jeff You're a riot! I may not be able to understand what you talk about as it's too unconnected to anything in the thread before, but i dig the absolute chaos you unleash! You should be given a tv show and a nice budget for special effects, also several Giraffes.

Generally, if i get trolled (and have the energy, always check first if you want to!) i try to think about what that person expects.
Commonly, trolls want to anger you, so it is essential to be kind and positive. Then, twist their try to play with any possible insecurities into a (honest) question about why they do this or if they misunderstood something.
An example would be someone calling you gay, which is usually their own insecurity about the topic. You can be blunt asking them about their insecurity and if they need help, or maybe there is something in the thread where they diverged from the topic discussed - then you can explain the topic and ask if they need clarification.
I repeat because it is important: always check your energy. It's not a good idea to engage if you're exhausted.

@autonomysolidarity Ah ja, gerade letztens hatte ich es mit jemand eigentlich vernünftigen. Dass solche Maßnahmen sich in der Praxis gegen die richten, die Demokratie wollen, das war nicht zu vermitteln.
Man bräuchte mal ne Sammlung entsprechender Nachrichten, so auf die Schnelle hatte ich keine Beispiele zur Hand.
