Freud is dad to me. I mean dead! Freud is dead to me

RT @kcgreenn@twitter.com

We passed it a couple days ago, but it has been 10 years since "On Fire", the strip I did that became the meme "this is fine". gunshowcomic.com/648

@idoubtit I stopped consuming corporate media after 9/11 for reasons. After a while you don't miss it. When my mom was still around, I would go to her house and she would have the TV going. I would wonder how she can watch that. I just sat there in disbelief of how terrible it was. It's like when you quit smoking and now the smell of it makes you ill. I found other ways to stay informed without subjecting myself to that.

How do you get two whales in a car?
Take the M5 across the Severn Bridge.

@cscherrer LOL, didn't even remember that until now. It must have lived in my subconscious for decades.

@idoubtit @rbreich You know what's interesting? I don't give one penney to cable, or watch any network news, or read any papers or listen to AM radio, and yet I knew exactly how they were going to spin it with false equivalancy. It's almost like the more corporate media one consumes, the less informed they truly are.

Have you heard of the band called 1023mb?
They haven't gotten a gig yet.

Have you heard about those new corduroy pillows?
They're making headlines.

I poured Root Beer into a square glass. Now I just have Beer.

@punkrockscience Maybe their shovel is bigger than ours, but our little shovels can be accurately directed to where they will do the most good. Their big shovel just spreads a thick layer of bullshit over everything, but we have a little Swiss Army shovel with different tools for different situations. Don't feel hopeless and futile; that's what they want, and you should never do what your opponent wants you to do.

@unearth Ten years ago I would have said "I hope it goes all the way to the SCOTUS." Now I'm thinking I hope it doesn't.

For the past 3+ years, I've been chairing an all-star National Academies committee charged with creating a series of posters on Illustrating the Impact of Mathematics. The website is finally live, and I'm really excited to share the results!! 💃 Please share!!

@albertcardona Oh yea, I'm noticing it. Fifty degree days in January near Chicago are the new normal. I'm an exterminator, and business sucks because all the bugs wake up in the middle of winter thinking it's spring, then get killed by a blizzard in March.

@albertcardona It's a replay of the Permian Extiction, only over decades instead of millenia. Once we hit the tipping point and all that methane that is currently locked up gets released, we could see 1000 ppm easy.

@trinsec Yea, cutting across before the ens of the lane liked that is a pet-peave of mine. I drive a lot for work, but I only get on the highway when I absolutely have to because of people like that.
