An obvious observation for decades, at all levels of society. But understated by monetary values. Drop in US life-expectancy & increased inequality & mortality should also be stressed. ⬆️ CDC funding alone will not solve this. Preventative health requires changes at all levels of society.

I've been here for 10 days, so it's time for an #introduction :

I am professor of political theory and public policy at JGU Mainz.

I am interested in theories of #democracy #deliberation and #representation. I also study citizens' conceptions of democracy and process preferences.
