Hi everyone, wanted to say hi and humanise this a bit so hope you are doing fairly ok and so let's talk.

Further Below is my list of replies to everyone reading down the thread but mainly as introduction I wanted to say:

"Let's actually talk!" (audibly as part of a topic or reply)

I know text is a killer or can kill the atmosphere in being long but you can read it this bits or just go for an audio chat by asking me!

The main message is to talk actually with each other which encourages you to contact me or ask anyone to practise chat both as a way to minimise mass of text *but also* somewhat compliment audio chat to something more humanising. Humanising things actually sounds like part of any solution right? So give me or others a try!

THE REST IS "LONGER AND MORE EXPLAINED" (or L.A.M.E for short - The opposite acronym to TL;DR !)

My #1 solution or key ingredient to everything now is basically for us to peer-to-peer talk in audio conversation and go for building trust and practising self-expression / seeing other people's articulation etc (YES as well as text YES! YES! YES!)
This is what is missing and when it comes to talking Away From Keyboard, it really helps talking in person. We can't always be behind a keyboard and expect healthy life :) Or do you expect that? (we could talk about this itself as the first topic!)

I'm happy to moderate and with Jitsi as a quite instant tool (example chatroom https://meet.jit.si/chataboutit) and this universally accessible non-big-tech site, which means people can talk to each other almost instantly and anonymously. Fairly safe / Most accessible for now / No account / Open Source / No tracking / American Commercialism / No Ads etc.

Just contact me and we'll do a test between us. If you try and it really doesn't balance well all these things I will give you $1000! Ok no just say "it didn't work" but so far has worked very well on many platforms and setups! (Uses basic WebRTC like zoom but simpler).

I can deal with pairs of people or small group if you feel shy by yourself.

- I don't get why people do not see the word google and then NOT expect these things, actually why they don't expect *everything* eventually... it's like animal going back to the same traps or same bad hands that feel them lies. Attachment theory in some way but also bad habits with tech get people clicking far too easily. (I did a picture of 'mouse' trap if you want it)

- I don't get why people don't try and fix the big elephant in the room, that being a business or company itself does exactly the opposite of many things we want or cuts out caring!! Or says it is xyz for some other unhand reason to catch something else or increase a habit at the same time as that given carrot of 'good'. Just people get sucked in like we all did with the gmail and all-you can-eat net stuff. People can't give it up now and willing to do anything perhaps!

- Indeed I didn't see dignity in any of the business books / techniques (maybe I have bad memory)

- It's not just a 'click' - it's perhaps everything else with it now. Everything a computer can do fast and make the trigger a click,.

- Everything has it's head turned into a business snake or part of head of snakes (government's power and control, regulation etc ideas and program that has continued since forever

- I suggest people sort the human sides out as the other games are their games (not ours) and business has always been for things like tax to got to war primarily... sad but not far off...
building other people's wall and empire only to get locked out or pay more...
one of my last posts suggest human (as untrained as they are) are worth investing in as the 'head' problem (and no choice really). More tech aint gonna do it with mentality that is the weak point.

- I sympathise and I suggest if I may to reorganise your daily work but make it as near 100% human work and sorting them out as the priority because that is least compromised directly (people can't change themselves back once they know how things work and the good and bad)...
there is a reason a lot of existing processes want keep people dumb / keep them not understanding or repeat and things - it's also how professional are being cheated.

*** BUT once a human knows they are being cheated - they become PISSED! And that's good in a constructive way to fix the world rather than fix inside a business container / matrix calculation that is too uncaring / too robust / doesn't want to change and even use it for ads!. ****

- Conspiracy is just a bit of a smoke screen or fancy word but yes another way of just business and everyone being registered to state and following. Natural for that structure and the people but people are too scared even to speak so this is one test for people to believe in themself... most are not ready or daring enough and need someone to go to the gym with them to train... to build something else while they feel going with their emotional output and covert that into something else like a circle for change or a men's group or women's group (or just make friends with everyone without having to tell their life story!!!)
Just friends would be a start for humanity and non-business related relativity.

- Even if people saw in the TOS we will do THIS bad thing and THAT bad thing I think wouldn't even register it... it's like some kind of fog that they are used to follow of because it's made legal or a company does it it's over their own moral compass... that it's ok to say ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ <--- because that this often means that people are too weak to use something else or will wait for something else better to come along if really it's 'super-easy' which big tech is always going to have the all-you-can-eat subsidies upper-hand. People just want fast fucking eye candy popping sensory feel-good infinite cats. Cat are nice but virtual one used for manipulation (if we call the cats 'money') is not good in those hands.
When candy is there people are like babies and reach for it... or other phrases a stick for a dog jumping off a cliff... dangling fish for a cat just to follow. Whatever :)
Choose you simpleton and knee-jerk reaction - it seems as easy as that.

In some way those people are like natural selection that you shouldn't necessarily try to 'save' but work on the method that has more concrete 'production' of healthy aware people. Otherwise they just to the silly ways again unless you make software that doesn't allow them to do anything silly... or anything! Take phone off them! Offer them money not to use it and get paid each time !

I think it's a self-reflection of how poor people are or feel justice as an external thing to be validated or accept mistreatment or 100th best. Of course there is the moral journey too many don't want to start as it's all deliberately compromised.
Business as it's very design of 'just a business' masquerades as helping to do something where it's really and weaker looking extension of government who have given themselves the job of collecting from you when you pass go inside one big monopoly game, and maximising what is initially given cheaper to get the habit (computers and phones included).. all without asking you for much else important. Just designers.

All regimes are oppressive -
passive-aggressive are worse for me as it's normalised and a lot more harder to get out of or do something meaningful (welcome to my life!), it's that middle of comfortable and moral senselessness that is obvious but hard to do anything about (direct war connected is much easier to run or flee or catch a bullet for what you believe in but yeah both probably happens, and none is great or nicer asking myself every day how my existence doesn't make things worse inside a clever design / constantly checkmated or feeling on the brink of it..... but I'm in 'luxury' even for what I didn't want (now a bit better see profile) and so I'm 'constructively' not happy for a while, but still game to change it if anyone wants to talk through the jungle of life and just get it done knowing it's a jungle! Crazy optimism I know.

- I like Kermode's answer to privacy because everyone's intentions are so questionable today from their unknowingness of what others have cleverly deigned (right from money to anything else) which is all in a business matrix.

Many things comes back to
- being sovereign and being respect to be individual (possessing yourself or at least with more consideration with others rules of practice and tons of exceptions could be ok with good-willed stewards)

- if law not being about business itself! Allowing for personal journey and reasoning, not one size fits all. Aiming towards happiness and not the cold processing with financial incentive to prosecute small people instead of progress humanity's mentality. Which is the same wherever you go once shit hits the fan and brings worst back into the uneducated and inexperienced people. We do need some 'when war happens we do this' and 'let's do this to keep war from happening'
(again this comes back to my wanting all of us to talk as the real attrition - power of mind!'
Otherwise that power we use badly against each other in decision making. Sort the head, body will follow.

- What to do when making money relies of 'getting' it from others? And then those others are banks in the chain who are adding % just to loan it to people? Making debt - making it a minus / losing game for everyone and for 100 I have to pay 200 eventually? When making each bank note a big lie how much it's real negative value is since % degrade it and all becomes a big mess?
Basic answer (if anyone can accept banks are totally bad) is to look to each other a lot more as the real moral values and respect differences.

- malte's bullet example is basically what the matrix format produces, A domino effect that a line of things that fall into doing a process consistently well. Might as well be called a mechanism and bullet for those who followers from head pyramid down.

Anyway the solution is basically for us to all really talk in audio conversation and build trust.

Then justice comes from our own trust and showing we're caring and not all bastard AND THEN doing more on top of that, picking more our business more often not theirs.

The Great Dictator was Chaplin’s first film with dialogue. Chaplin plays both a little Jewish barber, living in the ghetto, and Hynkel, the dictator ruler of Tomainia. MY OWN COMMENTS:
I would like to steward people / give them general directions with measurable reasoning without measuring too short their own individuality.
I would like to increase diversity while keeping nature as the base of humanity and basic interaction between us all since preserving planet preserves us... I would keep us suffering less of these luxuries today as they are also a liability and bigger cost to earth than it gives us satisfaction by working ever harder and paying more with spiralling crazy cost just to rent things. Not rent, property if you really live there.

I want to live by each other’s happiness and keep calm, not to rob people of their time and cause suffering as a means of control (although it works well I have to admit and people can run riot with their other 'logic' too, so in a way I don't blame people who want to keep people down... but perhaps if we can demonstrate and practice understanding, emotional intelligence, logic and reasoning THEN we can believe it's worth leaving adults unchained...)
UNITE like we do when we have a common enemy but use misunderstanding as the fuel for thought and doing things for each other.

I have actually been part of a bike-powered home cinema which needed:

Cigarettes create A LOT OF MONEY (usually about 15-20% is taxed on them and goes to government per pack!).

A lot of money is generated and gets spent on military sector & equipment as a result...

There is correlation from when cigarettes were not popular or even accepted that a campaign to "support the troops" used cigarettes to represent 'freedom' or even women liberation (see posters on my war posters collection page: http://freeschool.0id.org/world-war-ii-poster-collection-ww2-lessons/)

Those tanks and jets, jet fuel and metal flying overhead are not cheap to build or buy and then maintain! A bad circle if you ask me. Got a cigarette mate?

You pay taxes on everything you buy, so what's special about cigarettes?
Heavy Tax (called 'Duty') % is taken from cigarettes and similar products of toxic pleasure (like Alcohol, Petrol etc) and it directly goes to funding war equipment and personnel (if your country also spends about 50% of tax on military!).

POINTS List:
- Was massively pushed as product to support war initially and directly EARLY 1900'S,
- Women's liberation / Suffragettes / Feminist hijacking propaganda ("do your bit" / "support the men" / "for the cause" type emotional stuff)
- Fashion sponsorship
- Movies
- Formula 1 motorsports BIG money and tech (eventually minimised but was big money advertising with MALBORO on side of F1 cars going round and round!)
- Higher taxes on these drug type things (= higher duty)
- Same setup in each country / it's a template for war funds

Very lucrative and self-perpetuating as problem habits = more money.
This income is system supported.

@barefootstache Male / Female difference can follow some patriarchical template or tendency (or other things deliberate by man) but I would say behaviour or tendency exists in female at birth and it's not just influence of man, but the female nature itself is what I've come across before (in my limit experience and talking to my partners, parents, everyone lots about why they /others felt something in a situation...).
So my limited experiences tells me there is feeling regardless of man.

Your first paragraph ending seems to kill most of that and just put nature of women on men in 1950's...! Quite sure it's not going to be so or so simply the reasons (perhaps you were never claiming it to be but there wasn't enough doubt in the writing, no probs).

So without trying to be patriarchical-looking the female has different traits, behaviours and tendencies... pretty much because of their biological form and abilities (though not only that but mostly I'd say since when you exist as something therefore "you are" somewhat that).

The question is not just the taking advantage but existing construct at birth which is stronger than any man (if you ever lived with 1 or many!). Tendencies are around house-keeping or cleanliness are not just a stereotype but related to themselves.

Same goes for man but in other ways which might compound things for women on the other side but my experience is that women and men will anyway throw themselves in the mix and women will have feelings in equations relevant to them or not (they are almost unstoppable as emotions or interference overpowers them and brain is much more active / wondering / needing to help / wanting to assist / provide care for everyone / wanting to be felt worthy / self-sacrificing / providing service)

I could say more as they are not just x or y, but I believe in a simple way if you give different organs or abilities then this does determine certain things - quite similar to men given more muscular skeleton or construct who are more prone to use them or be orientated so... and those that don't feel equivalent in that trait will have certain feeling about that or simply 'need a man' as life needs those things too as a compliment (the same man needs many parts of a woman for functional or other reasons).

This is endanger of offending but honestly with experience think there is a difference between one type and another by nature and birth of that type.

I think also man / woman complete or compliment each other so it's not only looking at gender (although we need to reference it somehow). A natural yin-yan is there so it's not about just man or woman... though temporary focus is not a problem for me... and ideally humanity gets along no matter what their ability and puzzles it into other people's life.

However much people think they personally don't follow a planned design, I think this is innocent and quite clear how; the many years of man-made evolution leaning towards money-making things or even things for our own 'safety' that achieve the same control without real reasoning.

EMAIL VS MASTODON
Here are some my own personal reasons on the contrary and my consideration / awareness of email problems...

*** With Mastodon... ***
- I can actually get a response more often!... like instantly... email seems to take longer - could be a habit thing where people have to 'login' to email more whereas social is 'always on'.

- I tried emailing people and for many reasons my email falls under such sub-scenarios:

- With email people have said to me "oh I thought your name / FreeSchool must be spam so that's why I didn't click on it".

- Mastodon SHOWS the message (no choice!) in native interfaces so people have to read what I said not just look at name and judge
(although some email clients yes load too but much more unlikely to be spam in Mastodon and spam can't be automated as highly as in email)

- PLUS links and people are added in Mastodon message to what I was referring or replying to DIRECTLY / NATIVELY - like the actual POST not just a CC or plain text that could be copy and pasted from anywhere but credible Mastodon links and people attached!

- Mastodon encourages all types of people and in terms of fun, psuedo-names or aliases (it's a lot more prevalent / standard / in the philosophy)
So as has the internet always been Email just doesn't have that.

Mastodon as a social thing shows lots more real people even called 2454534 or SadCatMan or WhateverName and allows people to even ignore the name (which I think is better in general or at least not as ultimatum to if you 'sound' right by your name).

- Email lacks credibility of a profile attached - so on top of the above (ignoring Mastodon and not seeing message or not managing message) people receiving CAN actually check me as a person out (what my profile says / messages sent etc, my website, projects...)... this can be more a self-security or insecurity thing but actually more real or educational. People in email might have to say err... "Hi yeah" or "what do you want"... "oh you want conversation... that's weird by email"... people see I am human and wish little offence to others and they can see what I'm about even if it is different (can't with email it's really cold and my more likely spam)

- More interest and clicking on Mastodon seems the default (the insecurity goes away when people actually find relativity as forward-thinking humans instead of defensive "do-or-die" reply or "should I reply to this" in emails which seem totally alien and from far out... again the profile make this forward-facing more-sharing aspect or stance is better for people not self-harming themself from insecurity or paranoia...

Literally one expert (Vinay Gupta) said I was someone from his past repeatedly [good grief man] and people have mentioned girlfriend names and I'm like explaining in so many ways... repeating no I'm not and saying all this freeschool stuff and still they don't get it (yes people and everyone is stupid and don't even want audio chat on my suggestion to help situation.. but also for slowly catching little shy monkeys (to just chat) I think little things help.

So a lot can be about psychology + less colourful tech - which is +/- reasoning 100% but VERY human and because a lot about emails is VERY human I do weight more-certain or easier to see thing a lot more on Mastodon).

- People / even my admins might miss something but it helps to have the thread in 1 page (emails is sometimes not so or just a bit better in Mastodon while still being super-low in footprint as emails are)

Social side of Mastodon helps grease and involve more things and while that might not seem directly email related, for communication it's actually doing a lot of good work for us almost on it's own (the developers have done the invested work that pays us all to use it)...

***MAIN BIG REASON FOR MASTODON***
- Almost above all is that I BYPASS GOOGLE... So because everyone uses google like a " back-end " root to other services (email is the start to all subscription, passwords etc) if Mastodon people turn off email notifications (which I assume somewhat a large % do else if it would be 100's of emails) then the comms ARE ONLY USING Mastodon space NOT google)
No communications / Near-0 go to google!

NON-GOOGLE (LESS-GOOGLE)...
THAT IS SUPER.

Imagine on top people signup to Mastodon with non-gmail email - then Gmail is well and truly locked out more often and less harvesting as default! (they are now collecting LITTLE EVERYTHING and all other accounts and extension so this minimises it)

We all win if we don't give email reports or every movement email copies sent to google. 3rd party, government agents eventually...

Le$$ harvesting / tracking / web beacons in mail / no HTML loading tricking in Mastodon etc.... BIG win or MANY things I'm looking for and for the way in change from many malpractices.

- Oh finally Mastodon can do much more in terms of playing media (exchanging between people privately and native play)

- and executing less bad stuff too as default. With emails much more risky.

- and politically is aligned a bit more (email providers are political and profit orientated / do the dirty work when it comes really down to whistle-blowing on free speech or whatever).

TL; DR - Email is self-espionage :)
More people bypassing or away from that the better all our other work. Leaking it is bad work every second it's leaking / being on bad space / commercial space / attached to political company or government empire.
