The World: Oh my god the internet is a wide-open firehose of incoherent misinformation! The only silver lining is that the amount of bullshit is limited by how much content the human population can produce.

I really like the Amazon Prime Video feature where it blocks 1/4 of the screen with an unclosable ‘watch next episode’ window that opens 15 minutes before the current episode has finished.

@absolutspacegrl Everyone must pay except the owners of the utility companies, who are raking in the rich fruits of their malfeasance.

There are a number of ways to covertly support a war. The USA is expert at it.
If Charlie Wilson could do it for expelling Russia from Afghanistan, so can Democrats for expelling Putin from Ukraine.
The Russian-funded Republicans like Speaker Mike Johnson can be thwarted.
Konstantin Nikolaev, Mikhail Yuriev and Andrey Kunatbaev cannot be allowed to steer US foreign policy to Ukraine.
@BakerRL75 @ai6yr So the stains on the ceiling are good news, then.
@ai6yr I probably don't have to explain why this came to mind.
@sundogplanets It's all fun and games until your clothing freezes solid.

Dressed in my survival gear and about to head out into the -42° cold here on Hoth to complete my scheduled Monday reconnaissance..
What? It's Sunday? That was close. 😬
@wdlindsy I'm sure she's being well compensated. A nice little place on the French Riviera perhaps.
@ehurtley Wow. 0.2 kW is an enormous amount of power for a modem/router. Should be on the order of 15 watts (0.015 kW) or less.

with the state gaming industry reporting that number of injured dogs included 218 dogs who suffered broken bones and four greyhounds who later were killed.
But now, a federal bill could end gruesome greyhound racing for good. HR 3894, the Greyhound Protection Act, would amend the federal Animal Welfare Act to ban greyhound racing and remote gambling on the dogs.
