There is no “justice” system.

Today, Trump Org CFO Weisselberg is being sentenced to five months jail.

On a five month sentence, he'll serve approximately 100 days.

As a public defender in Manhattan, I represented a man who was sentenced to 3-6 years (and will serve 1500+ days) for stealing a jacket.

So reportedly now the GOP House is running based on a literal "secret agreement" among members. Sort of like organized crime.

On the month of his birthday, we remember the great Aron Eisenberg, who played Nog on all 7 seasons of "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" and guest-starred in Voyager's "Initiations." Gone far too soon, and very much missed 🙏 #StarTrek #StarTrekDS9 #StarTrekVoyager

Just over 3 years ago, I moved to a farm where I can see the Milky Way from my back door. Despite being an astronomer, I've never had that kind of personal access to a dark sky before, and it totally changed my relationship with the sky.

I have always loved looking at the stars, but now I also feel a shared ownership of this natural resource with all of humanity, past, present, and future. This is my sky! Our sky! Our human history!

A climate scientist was just fired for staging a climate protest at a climate change conference. This is outrageous. Scientific institutions need to stop sabotaging themselves. Doing research alone is not enough to save the planet. Scientists must be activists!
