Indeed, apparently we have newly qualified teachers here in the UK leaving the profession after a short time due to behaviour,
The precise behaviour that a few years earlier when THEY were at school was probably exhibited by their peers, which they backed up, and made teachers to terrifed to deal with as it breaches their rights.
So they are now going back, as teachers to the very environment of self importance and rights to do what you want, and seeing that from the teachers viewpoint.and not liking it.

Watching @pdp7 presentations on the current status of RISC-V ecosystem and available boards/emulators/Soft-Core should provide useful information.

It should be noted that RISC-V is still at its early development stages and many boards/chips are produced at very small numbers with extremely expensive methods. Such boards are more directed at developers.

Yeah, i get that impression too, also with face to face teaching surely that depends on subject for some where you need practical work e,g chemistry this is important, but surely for others where you may be mostly reading it could be less important.
We need people with practical skills e.g electricians, builders not people who have graduated with zero understanding of the real world
Yeah some people dont want change, could explain why social services here in the UK keep failing.

@zleap Yes this is true, it w/be unlikely to affect future trial as the video would be part of discovery.
On the other hand, the relationship between small businesses in the USA and police:
That relationship is part coziness, the other half, unspoken intimidation. Even if silent. Businesses like said dispensaries no doubt fear officer retaliation for the shared video.
And sometimes these videos released help add public pressure to change the training -- which is really at the heart of it.

I agree, we really should get college ./ uni back to academic subjects, propoer research and open debates, arguments rather than trying to cancel people.

I think there are developments in that direction to produce open hardware, of course we then need people to port apps, software and operating systems to these platforms.

@thor This sounds like a good idea, Over here in the UK there are efforts to recruit people with Autism in to jobs. Not allowed to discriminate so there are usually some sort of placement schemes to get peoples foot in the door first.
You need to train other workers so they understand the condition and adapt hjow they work ./ talk to people with autism (e.g taking things literally ) the course I did suggested don't use idioms just say what you mean, e.g it is raining heavily for example.
So more opportunities would be welcome. .
