Which as far as I understand it would be in violation of international law, well the coup part at least.

@aljazeera

Maybe he should have stuck with cricket and retired gracefully.

@sheliahunt

If you are ever in England (well Unite3d Kingdom generally) and want an alternative to the usual tourist destinations we have a good few mills, water mills etc,.

@knittingknots2

What would happen if the defected and helped Ukraine,?

@uanews

According to the BBC, Ukraine have denied these are their drones, however there does seem to be an assumption that is the case.

We do now there are opposition groups in Russia, if they got hold of drones and have decided to take advantage of the war to use drones to attack Buildings, they may be doing so to oppose putins regime but also in solidarity with Ukraine, but not acting on their behalf.

What evidence is there the drones are: a) from Ukraine and b) attacks are on the orders of the UKraine government / military.

Could they simply be internal groups doing this who are opposed to putin. The russian army is to bogged down with Uraine to deal properly with what is probably growing internal desent.

@JeremyMallin

I am sure one of the robots in the Jawa Sand walker (ep 4) made a noise similar to that.

@verdantsquare

Maybe we should see some of this as natural selection, surely people are educated as to the dangers of drugs / medication, choosing to ignore is your choice in many cases.

@Independent

Sacking rogue cops is surely only part of teh solution, they need to be added to the DBS barred lists so they can't go in to other jobs / roles where they are in a position of trust, so both the adult and child barred lists.

We need to protect the public from abuse, but also need to protect the public service from recruiting these abusers AND those who support / appease them.

@jeffowski

Very good points made, and interesting about the numbers too,.

Maybe with the federal case, more people see how they were impacted, with the NY case, it is hardly going to impact most Americans direct. The federal case about trying to overturn the election this is more serious in terms of democracy.

If Jan 6 had worked then we would be looking at Trump in the white house right how as president, facing a 3rd term in office despite not being allowed to serve a 3rd term, what would he do there, sign an exec order to keep him in the white house? Nobody knows the consequences of that yet.
