NOTE 2 is planning to get rid of repositories from accounts in the free tier that haven't had activity in at least 12 months.
...Just like @conservancy said to , it's time to as well.

and then add then the
'alternatives link' under this title:

redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=

@se7en
ALTERNATE LINK

redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=

Also a comment from the page called "Why our comics are Banned from Patreon"

They are forced to put in these rules by Mastercard. If they didn't, then they would lose the ability to process online money transfers which would instantly kill their business.

NATURAL LAW.... (NOT JUST MAN-MADE LAW)...

NATURAL LAW
(NOT JUST MAN-MADE LAW)

from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_
____________________________
Main thing ESSENTIAL for me in life is:

...people have inherent rights, conferred not by act of legislation but by "God, nature, or reason."

SIDE-NOTE Nature itself could be protected by Man in a similar way, which I think South American countries like Ecuador or Brazil or Peru have enacted or wanted to... etc...
So we can protect nature rather than just buy and sell it...

____________________________
EXTRA READING IF YOU WANT:

Pasted from Wikipedia:

Natural law (Latin: ius naturale, lex naturalis) is a system of law based on a close observation of human nature, and based on values intrinsic to human nature that can be deduced and applied independently of positive law (the express enacted laws of a state or society).

According to natural law theory (called jusnaturalism), all people have inherent rights, conferred not by act of legislation but by "God, nature, or reason."

Natural law theory can also refer to "theories of ethics, theories of politics, theories of civil law, and theories of religious morality."

@freeschool If you read back through your long, rambling posts, and sum up your key points in a couple of concise posts, I'm happy to continue the discussion. I'm not obliged to do that work for you. Insisting people continue to engage with unedited rants, will only result in getting ignored, if not muted/ blocked. Just saying :)

@AYMusic another good one
- some almost contrasting classic sound
(while it's probably in all games of this era)
- somehow this seems different or a kinda of combination that works (bass melody, crunching bass drum and computery tune on top!

Maybe I just had to say how good these things are or how I like them lol!

wacky and darts don't seem to go together or reflect in title picture but hey whatever they make is gold enough in some way for sure!

@how Super- that's a a lot of good stuff - that's kinda of why I like talking to people as it groups all the other things in and cross-pollinates. Really happy you're doing that.

@selea COFFEE ADVICE

As I see, these kinds of chemicals (drugs if you will) are just kinds of chemicals that are cheating the body like body-builder might use steroids (a temporary gain at a loss or crash or system failure bottle-neck later). 1 doesn't matter but relying on it or using it as a main weapon is bad.

I also see the supply chain from Brazil, rail roads and such colonial things (like tea was from china) and really worry about that without actually over-worrying since I'm quite balanced.

But there is obviously a reasons there is such a consistent supply chain even exist commecially and why people like software engineers / non-sleepers / medical staff / badly trained people / people in exhaustive industries abuse such substances.

Not being anti- xyz overly but here is a classic case over-usage by those that allow it will lower-level type entry stuff (good taxable material / products too).

Nothing much one can do but do a consistent non-maximum speed marathon of and be one's self at your own speed regulator with less of these spikes and keep more of a marathon going... and also it's about improve the mental side een if your job is pushing and trying to cut corners (we need to stop that but getting people to talk / stress more slowly and have spaces etc). Industry is to blame also... so going to find circumstances that allow us to express or conserve more energy is important so we don't get desperate or exhausted....

You can find smaller things like 10 apples, diluting things, apple juice, carrots etc... which won't kill you even if you eat 100. Hot and warm things help or just eating on time and brushing your teeth helps you preserve regular intervals...

Again it's a mind thing you have to regulate and even dominate a bit while managing the body like a sport without reaching for additives / drugs at all but the better types of food.

Hope that helps.

@RustyStriker SO CATS ARE THE PROBLEM :)
It's no wonder that with all these cats around [insert your political problem here] that this problem gets worse! !

@prehensile
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kobold

kobold = a mischievous elf, or an evil spirit; a goblin (German folklore)

And more points scored to people with more readable bingo cards rather than blocking the text making it harder to read for me the reader :)

@jimblimey@oldbytes.space
I guess nobody commented on this yet here (but they did in the chat at the time)

MY NOTES
The game title is "Warlock of Firetop Mountain" - is that after the adventure game books? (goes off to answer question)

Oh yeah it is wow! 📚
from game books: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warl
and this game: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Warl

And although I wasn't cracking up so much I almost lost it when I saw -50 at the end as a score!

Ok on to the next posts (that was just the 1st for your profile!)

P.S
For the "Hall of Fame" (scoreboard) at the end- can I assume the game makers made those as default pre-set names and scores on the scoreboard?

Thanks
(if you read the scoreboard relating to this video it seems they might also have been thinking the same thing at the time!) "Five Miles Out", "Moonlight Shadow", "Lucky Man"... almost all of the names!

SOCIETY IS POLITE TO THE EXTENT OF SELF-CENSORSHIP ?

- A HIDDEN KIND OF PROBLEM SOCIETY SUFFERS

So it's polite people being so polite that goes in the self-censoring spectrum!

oK ! Nailed it for the short version!

EXTENDED / DETAILS BELOW

Hard to imagine that censorship can also be about self-censorship (!) and that's where YOU, the other person I mean or any reader, can stop conversation from happening purely by going too inward. WTF ! THAT IS STRANGE / NOT OBVIOUS !!! Especially as a message is 'fire and forget' so if I send a question or comment asking, it's hard to track who didn't answer sometimes (similar to who you lent your book too lol - it's trusting people will at least say something and I think society / my experience says people are doing this often)

SELF-AGGRESSION?
If you see someone being outwardly aggressive in your face it's easy to see (also can be complex but it's visible)
This is why I appreciate and even love aggressive people because they get their accusation out and then you can adjust the problem (which even includes identifying why people are so nervous themselves anyway with or without you being there or talking to them)

BUT this kind of INWARD politeness is also aggression to one's self it seems! (and that can make self-conflict and internally more feelings (so it's not just my fault for existing lol) it's also the impatience someone might naturally have, expectations, or lots of stuff to make people want to jump out of a window / close your message and skip it!)

THAT IS VERY INTERESTING
(SUMMARY)
I guess you see it in kids when they don't answer (though they have more reasons or fear not to and as adult surely we could say why or even say "I'm not sure why but I have feelings").

MP3 AUDIO = PATENT FREE SINCE 2017

MP3 technology became patent-free in the United States on 16 April 2017, when U.S. Patent 6,009,399 held and administered by Technicolor expired.

I remember on portables back in the day a lot of decent things were Thompson Technologies (I think) or was it Pearson or some company presumably from developing or sub-licensing were best for using with a computer as it's was playable and didn't need some locked way (like the Windows Media wmv days, the 'other' formats really were 'other' formats as MP3 was that was only supported by some devices or connection (probably those companies paid for it).

As a result, many free and open-source software projects, such as the operating system, have decided to start shipping MP3 support by default, and users will no longer have to resort to installing unofficial packages maintained by third party software repositories for MP3 playback or encoding

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3#Lice

EXTRA INTEREST ABOUT AUDIO OR MP3:

1. Transcoding elsewhere and submit to Peertube #560

github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube

2. Upload audio file · Issue #170 · Chocobozzz/PeerTube · GitHub

github.com/Chocobozzz/PeerTube

@dave right, that's a key importance

so a PeerTube account would not get a notification or email (like "a user comment on your video xyz) even if comes up on the PeerTube page....

@feditips / @FediVideos could you confirm / clarify that? thanks

@dave
As far I know...
You can leave comments on PeerTube videos from Mastodon as it uses activitypub protocol

(and therefore you can comment on a video and receive replies probably if they mention you)

Seems I could be missing something but I think that's how it works.

See this for clarification what I mean: mas.to/@FediVideos/10729805625
