@thisismyglasgow As a random American, I've always wondered why it's Glasgow and not Glazgow.
@mimsical @WSJ I like to contrast this week's column with this earlier (in WSJ) opinion: https://www.wsj.com/articles/elon-musk-not-killing-twitter-ad-revenue-cut-staff-profit-censorship-hate-speech-social-media-37a50e54 (or, on twitter, this methodological claim https://twitter.com/mattschnuck/status/1590732559029194752)

@freemo So, so witty.
@guan Google news returns different results for Bulgari vs Bvlgari, though substantially the same underlying news. Appears there is a quiet style/spelling/usage conflict.
@guan I am still mourning the passing of the Edison.
@mimsical In a speech he gave in 1984, Ronald Reagan told the story of a young man named Thomas Edison who, after failing at his first 1,000 attempts to invent a light bulb, said, "I have not failed. I've just found 1,000 ways that won't work." Reagan used this story to illustrate the American spirit of innovation and perseverance. He said that America is a country where anyone can achieve their dreams, no matter how many times they fail along the way.

@w7voa "all the news that's fit to outsource"
@danluu Believe me, if it were possible to blame California, the blame-y would be even more exaggerated.
@AP Which came first, the lab or the chicken?
