Depende. No es lo mismo "Fulano busca respuestas" que "La muerte de Fulano" que "Donde se cuentan más cosas". Si se logra que actúe como cebo (sin decir nada) y como forma de identificar el capítulo una vez leído el libro, estupendo. Si va a dar información antes que el texto, o es claramente un relleno, pues no.
Efecto Dunning-Kruger de manual. Ni saben, ni quieren saber. Les pasa lo mismo con el machismo, el racismo y mil cosas más. Y lo peor es que con otra gente que tiene la misma idea o menos, son argumentos la mar de convincentes.
Que ya se sabe que si sabes distinguir el bien y el mal, ya no puedes hacer un montón de cosas. Mejor no tener ni idea, y a seguir igual.

Never really used GNOME Web, but I have used a variety of browsers in Ubuntu for years with dozens of tabs opened, with no trouble at all. Only 8GB of RAM.
Most likely, the cause is a severelly underpowered machine.

Ya. A lo que me refería es a que hay una jerarquía en esto: no es lo mismo leer un artículo, que tener una licenciatura, que tener un premio Nobel por el tema específico del que se habla. Tampoco hay que caer en la titulitis: será por gente que se saca un doctorado y luego sólo les sirve para decir cosas que avergüenzan a sus colegas de profesión. O que no se actualizan en 40 años.
Conste que soy el primero al que le revienta la tontería del típico que es fontanero (o pedagogo, abogado, o lo que sea) y si le pones algo en duda de fontanería se ofende, pero luego te suelta "qué sabrán los científicos" cuando el tema es el cambio climático. Que bueno es tener cierta actitud crítica, pero...

En muchos casos, es claramente el efecto Dunning-Kruger. Especialmente con magufadas varias.

También es cierto que "experto" es un término relativo. Hay contextos en los que haber terminado la primaria te convierte en el experto local en física de partículas 😅

If SVG is supported by all software, you could embed the base bitmap as an external reference in the SVG, letting it store only the text and any metadata that could be useful, as SVG allows the use of custom tags and attributes. So you would not need to use it as an alternative; it could be the new meme format in itself, because it would cover all your initial points.
Yep, the con is a big con. Maybe the best way to fix that would be to have a 'compiled' meme: generate as an alternate an old style image version of the meme and send it only to old clients, other Fediverse server software and old Mastodon servers. It would break pro #2, but on time even that crutch could be removed.

En este tipo de formatos, es frecuente que varias versiones se turnen usando el mismo plató. Uno inventa el formato y cede el uso del plató, o directamente lo montan entre todos. Imagino que eso reduce bastante los costos del propio programa. Lo que no sé es si pagarán todos lo mismo o irá por tamaño de la cadena. Imagino que será más bien lo segundo; pero fijo que dependerá de cómo negocien contratos.

Teniendo en cuenta que TV3 emite para casi 8 millones de personas y que ETB sólo para unos 3 millones, se explica todo. A más audiencia, más presupuesto y más premios. No hay más que ver las versiones estadounidenses de otros concursos.
