@pcrritesgood @jayinkyiv Yes, it will help enormously. It's worth every effort to secure Ukraine and eject the Russians.

@Tbsa @jayinkyiv They are. I have several friends in Ukraine and worry about them. I have something next to my hand right now made of steel produced by Azovstal. It always reminds me of Ukraine.

To the American "stop helping Ukraine" fools, worried about stupid MONEY.

Due to US policy over the past year, the largest, most resource rich country in Europe now loves America more than any ally did after WW2.

Spend a month in Kyiv as an American and you'll see what I mean.

You can donate directly to the defense of Ukraine:

u24.gov.ua/

It's tax-deductible in the US, too.

For every boost this post gets, I'll add a buck to my next donation.

Q: So is it your position that you can discuss in the media direct conversations you had with the President of the United States, but you will not discuss those same conversations with this Committee?

Eastman: Fifth.

@daniel I wonder if it will make any difference at all. The Pentagon has made noises about rooting out people like this from government agencies and the military, but I dunno. They absolutely should because the loyalty of these people is seriously in question.

Will you obey your Commander in Chief or the leader of your cult? Hmm, I see you're hesitating. OUT!

@ai6yr Yeah, trolls are unavoidable no matter where you go. You'll find people with personality problems in every setting including ham radio.

On other platforms you have "block and report", and then you hope the admin or a moderator in India does something about it. On Mastodon you have to learn to keep your cool and do what needs to be done yourself.

@ai6yr This is not a new thing on Mastodon. Block the user. If the user tries to get around the block and the admin of their instance doesn't do anything about it then block the whole instance.

This has worked well in the past because trolls tend to congregate on instances that are poorly policed. By blocking the instance, chances are you've blocked a whole trove of trolls that you haven't run into yet.

@edcasabar Lol. Some people have the dance gene and some don't. I'm in the don't category.

What’s the difference between Elon Musk and Donald Trump?

Musk actually has a billion dollars.

It looks like a Trump attorney was pressuring Cassidy Hutchinson to toe the Trump line in her testimony. That could be a federal crime.
MAGA —> Making Attorneys Get Attorneys.

@ionizedgirl Depending on the application, a USB "sound card" can be used as a DAC and ADC. The output signal might be AC coupled which is a problem if you want a DC output. But you could short the coupling capacitor and get DC output.

*** Musk boldly lying about the FBI and Twitter ***

Let's make this one really clear. Musk is simply not telling the truth in his new claims that the FBI paid millions of dollars to Twitter to censor posts or otherwise control Twitter content.

The payments were actually reimbursements from the FBI for the costs of servicing routine legally required information requests, as designated by
18 U.S.C. Section 2706.

Stop lying Elon. You're making things worse for yourself and all of your companies.

@schwa Oh my. Hah. Well, that sounds challenging. I enjoy bit-twiddling but haven't had an opportunity to do it in a long time.
